Would you uproot Your Life for Love?

Let’s get real for a minute, ladies.
I’ve written about women brave enough to take on wild stallions, grumpy cowboys, and small-town scandals—but nothing, nothing, requires more courage than packing up your life, leaving behind everything familiar, and moving to be closer to your grandbabies.
Let me tell you—I did it.
In the middle of May. In Texas. Where the sun cooks your brain before lunch and the mosquitoes show up armed and organized. I stood in the middle of cardboard chaos, sweating like a chuckwagon cook at high noon, and thought, What in the hay bale am I doing?
But then…
A little voice called, “Mimi!”
And suddenly, I remembered exactly why I did it.
Women in western romances are often called stubborn. But I like to think we’re just full of grit, heart, and a whole lot of love. We do what needs doing. Whether it’s running a ranch solo, taking in a stray cowboy, or following those chubby-cheeked grandkids across state lines.
So today’s blog post is a question straight from my own life:
Would you do it? Would you uproot your life to be closer to your kids or grandkids?
Drop a comment below and let’s talk about what home really means when your heart belongs to the next generation.
And don’t worry—I saved a ton of the moving boxes. Just in case any of you are feeling brave. :)
All our best to you and yours,

Miss you here in Hackberry, girl!
I’m so proud of you for putting your family first. Sounds like it was crazy and hard, but well worth it!
Would I? Hope I don’t ever have to make that choice. I’m so rooted where I am- but pray that if I did, God would grant me the graces needed like He did for you!
Best wishes!!
