Are you intuitive?

Listening to My Inner Voice:

Now, figuring out whether to trust my intuition is like trying to solve a Rubik's Cube blindfolded – tricky, but not impossible! I've learned to tune in to the whispers of my gut and differentiate between "Eureka!" and "Oops, I did it again." Sometimes it's spot-on, and other times it's like playing roulette with my life decisions. But hey, where's the fun in playing it safe all the time?

Of course, relying solely on my intuition can be like letting a toddler drive a car – hilarious in theory, but disastrous in practice. My gut feelings can be as reliable as a weather forecast in a snow globe, influenced by emotions and biases. Blindly following my intuition is like playing a game of "Trust Fall" with a brick wall – not recommended for the faint of heart!

So, should I toss my intuition out the window like yesterday's leftovers? Nah, that's no fun! Instead, I've learned to strike a balance between my gut instincts and my brain's higher functions. It's like having a dynamic duo of decision-making – Batman and Robin, but with fewer capes and more snack breaks. By combining intuition with a sprinkle of logic, I can navigate life's rollercoaster with a bit more finesse and a lot more laughter.

How do I know I'm intuitive? Several reasons. I've taken a lot of personality tests. Clifton Strengths. Briggs-Meyers, Color...there's more, but to list them here would be b-o-r-i-n-g. Regardless of which test you pay attention to, they all identify me as intuitive, but trusting my intuition is like riding a unicycle – a bit precarious, but oh-so-entertaining! Sure, it's not always reliable, and it's certainly led me down some bizarre rabbit holes, but hey, that's half the fun of being human!

I've always had real life experiences where my gut told me not to trust this person or that person. I ignored that little voice inside my head because we've all been told if we hear voices talking to us no one else can...well, that's crazy, right? But not so crazy when these same people eventually show their true selves and it turns out...wait for it...wait for it, yep, I shouldn't have trusted them!

So, the next time my gut speaks up, I'll listen – but I'll also keep my brain on speed dial, just in case I need a good cop-bad cop scenario. After all, life's too short for boring decisions and straight-laced adventures!
